COMMENTS: Doctors' Plot Doggedly Hangs Around

The so-called Doctors' Plot--the botched trio of carbombs that failed to inflict mayhem in London and Glasgow last weekend--stubbornly refuses to disappear from the headlines. NBC led with the latest scraps from the case: some new videotape from the fire at Glasgow Airport has been released and a pair from the alleged cell put out feelers to practice medicine in the United States. This is fourth weekday out of the last six that this has been Story of the Day. Enough! ABC and CBS certainly allowed their attention to wander: CBS led with the western heatwave; ABC, which ran with the heatwave Wednesday and Thursday, chose an odd lead that both of its rivals ignored. The Justice Department estimates that $1bn in claims for federal aid after Hurricane Katrina were fraudulent.

I am still catching up from last week's vacation, so there will be no more blogging on today's news.

Whatever happened to Gloria Borger of CBS. She just dropped off the map suddenly.
On the other end, Nancy Cordes seems to be on every night reporting on more than just transportation.
TVNewser reported last Friday that Borger is leaving CBS. Borger's role seems to be filled by Jeff Greenfield now.

Sorry to ask such a different question to the subject of this blog, but I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to find out the number of airtime minutes any news found have.
I get the number of times it is on air but not the number of minutes... could you help me with that please?
Thank you very much in advance.
