CONTAINING LINKS TO 1280 STORIES FROM THE NETWORKS' NIGHTLY NEWSCASTS
     COMMENTS: Poster Baby

CBS' Lara Logan attracted plenty of attention in June with her Exclusive when she accompanied an 82nd Airborne unit as it liberated a Baghdad orphanage with two dozen filthy, naked, starving boys. The case of the infant Fatima Jbouri represents less exclusivity and diminishing emotional returns. NBC anchor Brian Williams (no link) noted that the girl, abandoned in Baghdad's 120F heat after her mother and uncle were assassinated by a death squad, had already made the front page of The New York Times. Now she is being cared for by US military medics in a Green Zone hospital. ABC's Miguel Marquez (no link) called it a "miracle" that the girl is alive while CBS' Logan called it merely a "small miracle."
