Pausch is the terminal pancreatic cancer patient whose farewell words of wisdom have "inspired 10m people to change their lives," according to Diane Sawyer. Sawyer previewed a Primetime profile of Pausch on ABC, which is a Disney sibling of Hyperion. She did not mention Hyperion by name or their connection.
