COMMENTS: GOING POSTAL
NBC filed an In Depth report into claims by the White House that it has the right to search our first class mail without a warrant. George Bush asserted the authority for "foreign intelligence collection" when he signed USPS legislation in December. "Members of Congress, both Republicans and Democrats, say that is not what they intended the law to do," Pete Williams pointed out.
