TYNDALL HEADLINE: HIGHLIGHTS FROM JULY 04, 2007
The Fourth of July holiday was Story of the Day as parades and fireworks were watched over by security-conscious police. For the second straight day CBS led with a holiday theme about the domestic festivities, while NBC added barbecue footage of troops celebrating in Baghdad and Bagram AFB in Afghanistan. For its lead, though, NBC followed-up on the British investigation into those bungled carbombs. ABC chose the summer heatwave that is pushing western temperatures past 110F.

I am still catching up from last week's vacation, so there will be no more blogging on today's news.
